JOY THE MONSTER.
Sami is a comic artist and illustrator who has published various books, worked with VICE, and has been part of Kutikuti for a long time. His work is often surreal and reflects his ideas and perceptions about the world, albeit not always directly. Sami’s comics can be melancholic and dreamy, and they sometimes explore the potential of wordless narration and the power of silence. Weird things, nature, shapes, existential questions, nonsense, are among his sources of inspiration and he makes all sorts of comics, from clear narratives to nightmarish houses of mirrors.
